Anyways, I have remade the VM about 6 times now and I have not been able to get it running. Guest Additions did not do anything to combat this, and in fact the only thing it did both times was sync the time: it didn't speed the VM up or add the correct resolution. The first two times I tried actually let me boot into Windows and complete the installation (even though I had to go into cmd and go into regedit in order for it to complete both times) however it was very slow. The machine has enough CPU (2) and RAM (2048 MB). The initial installation has be done last was fast at the beginning but has now slowed down to a crawl. Yesterday, I left the VM running for about an hour, and came back seeing it was still on the "Starting Windows" screen. I have a Windows 7 pro 64 bits guest running on an Ubuntu host. When I try to boot into set up, it is extremely slow, and for the past 3 attempts (completely remaking the VM), have never got past the "Starting Windows" screen.
